Huge room with superking size bed. Very comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Rural location in Williton Village but close to amenities and not too far from local attractions and beach.
Builders were busy constructing an extension which didn't provide a great view and not informed of previously. They were quiet though.

Everything you could want from a b & B. Welcome friendly, good breakfast, location excellent - tucked down a quiet lane with lovely views but within walking distance of shops, pubs restaurants, and only a short drive from the beach.

Catwell House is a traditional farmhouse with oak beams and a beautful garden surrounded by fields at the end of a track. The owners made us feel welcome with tea on arrival and recommended a pub for an evening meal . The room had a view out to the fields and was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious . This is a great hotel for getting away from everything and the surrounding areas offer so much. You really need your own transport to get around.

Ross and Becca were great hosts and their home a pleasure to stay in. We also toavoid stress decided to cut our stay by a day and it was allowed with no problem.

The Hotel was over 250 years old and was furnished very well. Bathroom really nice (modern), with separate shower and bath. Owners were friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was great! They take dogs, and have two of their own, but there were no disturbances in the night or at any other time. A good location, not far from the North Somerset Steam Train line, good beaches and lovely old villages.

We enjoyed a one night stay at Catwell House and wished we could have stayed for longer. The location was delightful as Catwell House is situated in a quiet part of the village with views of the countryside and yet a short stroll from the centre of the village. Our hosts Rebecca and Ross were very welcoming, our room was lovely and so very quiet ,and the breakfast was fantastic with generous portions and cooked to perfection. A pub in the village called The Mason's Arms provided us with one of the most excellent meals we have enjoyed and so we felt that a longer stay would have been desirable. There is so much to see and do within the area around Catwell House and in our short visit we saw beaches, pretty villages, a castle, an ancient Abbey and the glorious contrside of the Quantock Hills.

A very warm relaxed stay and would recommend it to others.
Outside the hotel is public footpath which leads to a housing estate, this can be noisy.

This was an absolute gem and fully ewarded all our internet research beforehand. Ross and Becca happily throw open their home and they treated us like family members. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, with a nice bathroom, and the breakfasts were outstanding. Catwell House is just 30 metres from walks which stretch across the Quantocks, so it's ideal if you want to take your dog - and it'll be made to feel very much at home! The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and be sure to visit Dunster! Overall, it was the perfect break.
No criticism whatsover!
